8 REASONS TO ATTEND ANGELOS BIBLE COLLEGE

  1. Location-The college’s campus is located on the Portsmouth-Chesapeake city line (near Deep Creek and the western section of Portsmouth) in the Hampton Roads region with a population of some 1.5 million people and over 1,100 churches.

  2. Faculty-The College has a distinguished faculty of 25 professionals with over 95% holding advanced or doctorate degrees.

  3. Credentials-The College has been approved by the State Council of Higher Education of Virginia (SCHEV) that enables the school to award college degrees, by the State Approving Agency (SAA) through the Department of Veterans Affairs, and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

  4. Specialty Degrees-The College awards Associate degrees in Christian Counseling, Pastoral Ministries, Biblical Studies, Missions and Women’s Ministries.

  5. Women’s Study-The College offers a Women’s Ministry Program which is unique in that it offers a program of comprehensive study for church leaders who desire to enhance their leadership, counseling and teaching skills to better serve and lead women’s groups and ministries.

  6. Certificates-The College academic program allows students an opportunity to receive 16 certificates or degrees in 7 majors or concentrations.

  7. Ratio-The College’s enrollment is growing, but still maintains an average teacher-student ratio of 10 to 1.

  8. Competitive Cost-The College’s tuition is among the lowest in the region. State tuition and fees average $3,793 per year or $150 per credit hour at public colleges; $1,406 a year at community colleges and only $3,000 or $300 per credit hour at Angelos Bible College while taking 12 credit hours of course work each semester.
